Keeping your base powered is one of the most important parts of surviving in Subnautica 2. Every machine inside your habitat, including Fabricators, storage systems, oxygen support, and advanced crafting stations, depends on a stable power supply.
You can monitor your base’s energy levels from the upper-left corner of the screen. If your power production is higher than your consumption in Subnautica 2, your base remains fully operational and even replenishes your oxygen while you’re inside. However, if your base runs out of energy, everything shuts down until power is restored.
