Ice cream cones are back in Fortnite after their debut last July during the No Sweat Summer event. The consumables restore health and shields, but will also grant XP to put towards this year's summer challenges.
The Summer Escape event is the fifth annual summer blowout in Fortnite, and kicked off this week on July 4. As with past years, Summer Escape will run for 14 days, wrapping up on July 18, 2023 at 6am PDT / 9am EDT / 2pm BST which should give you plenty of time to work your way through the quests to unlock an array of cosmetic items, as well as the secret Battle Pass skin – Purradise Meowscles.

Epic has unvaulted Fortnite ice creams for Summer Escape, with both the Frozen IceCream Cone and Lil Whip’s Special Serve making a comeback for all two weeks of the event.
