There are a number of plants that you can purchase and grow in Hogwarts Legacy, and Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula are particularly important. You need to grow and harvest these plants if you want to complete your potion classes, and progress through the game. They can be quite difficult to track down, but this guide will outline everything you need to know.
Here is everything you need to know about Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy.
Hogwarts Legacy: How to buy Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula
You can purchase Venomous Tentacula from Dogweed and Deathcap on the north side of Hogsmeade. They cost 500 gold each, which can soon start adding up. You can grow them yourself fairly cheaply in the Room of Requirement, which will end up saving you a lot of gold.
We haven’t found anywhere that you can buy Fluxweed. This makes growing your own plants the optimal way to play.
Hogwarts Legacy: How to grow Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula
You can grow both of these plants in the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts, but you will need some large pots in order to do so. However, these are not too difficult to find, and the benefits of growing your own definitely outweigh the costs.
You can purchase seeds for both of these plants from Dogweed and Deathcap in Hogsmeade. You only need to purchase these seeds once, and afterward, you can grow as many plants as you would like.
Hogwarts Legacy: Where to buy large pots
Now we have our seeds we just need somewhere to plant them. You can find these in Tomes and Scrolls, a shop on the south side of Hogsmeade. This shop carries a number of items you can use to outfit the Room of Requirement. For Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula you only need large pots.
You only need one pot for each type of seed. Once you have purchased them, you need to head back to the Room of Requirement in order to plant your seeds and start growing. Large plants take 15 minutes to grow before you harvest them. You can leave and do other things, but make sure you come back every now and then to harvest your plants and allow more to grow.
If you follow this method you will never run out of Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula.
