Newcastle United fans are eagerly awaiting the start of pre-season ahead of the 2022-23 Premier League game. The club have two games at St James' Park with Atalanta and Atheltic Bilbao the visitors at the end of July.
The games take place in successive days with Atalanta visiting on Friday, 29th July and Athletic Bilbao on Saturday 30th July. The game against Atalanta will kick off at 7.45pm, while the game a day later takes place at 3pm.
Tickets went on sale on 5th July with the club offering a special package for both - and before the tickets went on sale fans were already queuing in their thousands to get tickets. The two home games make up a pre-season schedule where Newcastle play Gateshead on July 9th, 1860 Munich on Friday, 15th July, Mainz on the 18th July, and Benfica on 26th July.
