Taming a Scavenger mount in the Gothic Remake is great if you don't want to walk around the entire map on foot, or retread the same old routes over and over. While you can unlock fast travel in Gothic, it's limited to camps, so getting a mount speeds things up significantly in terms of travelling between known locales.
You can get the Scavenger mount at any time during the game, but you will need enough money and learning points (detailed below) to actually acquire the mount, some skills, and make the saddle. All that said, here's how to saddle up a Scavenger to ride.
