The treasure map is in Corozal, on the far west side of the map inside the Chinchorro region, at the camp marked around coordinates 11, 242. The map itself is tied to a dead body in the area, so make sure you loot the body before leaving.
After that, the map points you to Ambergris Key at around coordinates 30, 157. When you reach the location, look for the cave at the center of the area and move through the underwater entrance until you find the chest.

To unlock the Pirate Captain Outfit in AC Black Flag Resynced, all you need to do is:
- Go to Corozal
- Find the treasure map
- Loot the dead body in the camp
- Obtain the map
- Travel to Ambergris Key (coordinates 30, 157)
- Enter the cave from the underwater opening
- Follow the path inside
- Dig up the chest at the end
- Get the Pirate Captain Outfit and 2,000 Reales
What’s the best way to reach the chest
The safest way is to treat Ambergris Key like a short cave dive rather than a normal shoreline search. Once you reach the dark-water section, dive down and keep moving through the cave until you reach the hidden chamber.
The chest is not out in the open, so if you are circling the area above ground, you are probably in the wrong place. The chest rewards the rare Pirate Captain Outfit and 2,000 reales.
