You can obtain a Golden Momo Button by defeating the Scavenger boss in Infinity Nikki. To beat this foe and get your hands on this prize, there are quite a few steps you have to work through first. Here's a full breakdown of how to get it done.
- Unlock the Momo, Grow Stronger! quest. This mission is unlocked automatically once you've completed chapter one of the Itzaland main storyline. If it's not available to you, continue progressing through the start of the Itzaland chapter to unlock it.
- Work through the Momo, Grow Stronger! quest. Once you've got it unlocked, start playing through it. You need to reach the end of this mission to unlock Momo's combat system and eventually get the item you're after.
- Complete the Blessing of the Forest quest. Work through the Curse of Thorns mission first, then you'll gain access to this mission, which is the main one you need to complete to obtain a Golden Momo Button.
- Defeat the Scavenger boss. At the end of the storyline in the Blessing of the Forest quest, you'll encounter the Scavenger boss and automatically be brought into battle against this opponent. Defeat this foe in battle to claim your prize.
If you hover over the description for the Golden Momo Button item on the Momo Growth page, it tells you it can be obtained by "purifying powerful Esselings." You can use the Golden Momo Button by navigating to the Momo Growth page, switching over to the Cloak Enhancement tab, and selecting the Upgrade option in the bottom right corner. This item is used to enhance his combat skills, unlocking a new ability he can use in battle.
To spend your Golden Momo Button, you also need 100 Momo Combat Insight. This currency is gained when Momo helps you in battle, so if you're short on it, try to hang back a bit and let Momo lead the charge in more battles so that he can rack up experience.
