Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:GILD) will release earnings results for the second quarter, after the closing bell on Thursday, Aug. 7.

Analysts expect the health care company to report quarterly earnings at $1.96 per share, down from $2.01 per share in the year-ago period. Gilead Sciences projects to report quarterly revenue of $6.96 billion, compared to $6.95 billion a year earlier, according to data from Benzinga Pro.
