Two of the top 10 teams in men’s college basketball are set to go face to face this weekend when the Kansas Jayhawks play host to the Houston Cougars on Saturday.
Kansas carries a 17-4 overall record — but only a 5-3 mark — into the matchup after coming off a home win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Tuesday night. Kevin McCullar Jr. is currently the Jayhawks’ top scorer, dropping an average of 19.8 per game.
Houston brings an even more impressive 19-2 mark into Saturday’s action with both of the losses coming in conference play out of eight tries. L.J. Cryer has paced the Cougars with his team-leading 15.1 points per game.
