Tyler Herro has been lighting it up lately for the Miami Heat.
The Sixth Man of the Year candidate (-1205) has 19 points, 24 points and 18 points in his last three games, respectively, and is a major reason why the Heat (34-20) are leading the Eastern Conference.
They just won’t have Herro to rely on against the Washington Wizards on Monday night. Miami (-6.5) announced the shooting guard would miss the contest to rest a knee that’s been ailing him.
No matter, the Heat should be able to make quick work of an imploding Wizards club with or without the Kentucky product. And bettors should be ready to pounce.

Even without Herro, there’s no question the Heat should be able to take care of Washington with ease.
Miami won two of their first three matchups against the Wiz this season with their last meeting on Dec. 28 ending in a 119-112 victory. Washington did earn the win in their previous matchup, 103-100, but before then it was the Heat running away with a 112-97 win in November.
Add the fact the Wiz has lost seven of their last eight games and it doesn’t look too good for the club representing The District.
Lay the points with ease and don’t look back.
If you’re interested in adding some props, however, Max Strus (who is also questionable) over 2.5 threes seems more than attainable if he plays. Same goes for Kyle Kuzma over 8.5 rebounds—the former Laker has been all over the boards when he faces Miami.
In three games against the Heat this season, Kyle Kuzma has a team-high 25.0 defensive rebounding percentage.#DCAboveAll | @DXCTechnology pic.twitter.com/Jw8WXOBQFK
