How Paul Pogba reacted to PSG fans protesting against transfer from Manchester United

Paul Pogba's wife has revealed she and Pogba were unperturbed by Paris Saint-German fans protesting against him moving to the club.

Although Pogba will leave Manchester United as a free agent at the end of the month, he could have left sooner, with the player frequently linked with a move away from Old Trafford over the past several years.

Mino Raiola controversially confirmed Pogba wanted to leave United in 2019 and 2020, and the player was linked with transfers to Juventus, Real Madrid and PSG. Pogba didn't get his move away from United but that didn't stop the speculation.

Pogba was heavily linked with a transfer to PSG last summer, however, the French giants' fans had something to say about it. PSG fans protested against Pogba potentially joining the club as they unveiled banners warning him not to sign.

In the new Amazon Prime documentary about Pogba, the player's wife Maria Zula was asked about the protests.

"When we see some comments that we don't like, we're like ok, it's a free opinion," Zulay said. "We live in a free world, everybody can give their opinion, we're not the kind of people that look at the news."

Raiola was also asked about the protests and he added: "If you don't have critics, you don't have fun in football. There's always something to criticise. In clubs like Manchester United, Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain, 50 per cent of the people love you and the other 50 per cent hate you."
