West Ham United have already pocketed over £6million already this season via the Europa Conference League.
The Hammers will be in the Round of 16 in the competition in March after winning Group B. Thursday’s 3-0 victory over FCSB in Bucharest meant that they became the first side in the competition’s two season history to ever win all six of their group games.
So far this season, West Ham have already played eight times in the Europa Conference League, having faced Danish side Viborg in a two-legged qualifying match in August before the group stage, winning 6-1 on aggregate. In doing so, they booked themselves into Group B alongside FCSB, Silkeborg and Anderlecht, earning €2,940,000 (£2,557,800), as per UEFA.

On top of that, West Ham have also picked up six lots of €500,000 (£435,000) for each of their six group stage wins. For finishing top of Group B, West Ham received an additional bonus of €650,000 (£565,500).
For reaching the Round of 16, West Ham were given a bonus of €600,000 (£522,000). That takes their total earnings to €7.2million (£6.2million) so far. However, that figure could increase much further in the knockout rounds.
Winning their match in the last 16 and qualifying for the quarter-finals would earn the Hammers €1million (£870,000). The semi-finals would become even more profitable for the Hammers, where a win to reach the last four would earn them €2million (£1.74million), and a place in the final guarantees an extra €3million (£2.61million).
The final alone is worth up to €5million (£4.35million), with the winner taking that and the loser taking €3million (£2.61million) for reaching the last two. If West Ham were to win every game between now and including the final, they would pocket a total of €15.2million (£13.22million), a fee definitely making the competition worthwhile, even if it is UEFA’s third tier club competition.
