It might have been over 1,000 days since Tom Kim's last professional victory, but it would certainly have been worth the wait as the South Korean claimed an emotional win at the Genesis Scottish Open.
Following a fall from grace where Kim was hovering around the world's top-10 to outside of the top-150 in less than two years, a string of promising results of late have catapulted the 24-year-old back into the big time.
A two-shot win at The Renaissance Club this week followed his T3rd at the US Open in June, consequently ensuring Kim will have collected more than $3 million in less than a month.
His biggest check of the season was clinched on Sunday, though, with almost $1.6 million banked via a stunning final-round performance.
Kim went bogey-free in tricky conditions on Scotland's east coast, all while collecting six birdies to reach 17-under for the tournament.
He remained out of the reach of all those chasing him, including Min Woo Lee who began the final round as a co-leader, only to finish second and take almost $1 million in consolation prize money.
A four-way share of third diluted the eye-watering numbers available to those in the top-10, but a relatively tight cut featuring 71 players helped increase the payouts on offer to anyone who made it that far.
Away from the financial side of the perks, Kim earned a place at The Masters in 2027 while Johnny Keefer, Michael Thorbjornsen and Victor Perez each secured last-gasp spots into The Open next week via the Open Qualifying Series.
Below is the full prize money breakdown for each player and position at the 2026 Genesis Scottish Open.
