How much Celtic have won in total from Champions League campaign

Celtic banked another Champions League bonus last night for their draw against Dinamo Zagreb.

Brendan Rodgers' side are up to nine points in the league phase of the UEFA competition this season - meaning significant performance-related bonuses for the club.

UEFA rewards clubs for wins and draws in the league phase of the tournament, on top of the payment for competing at this stage.

Celtic received €18.62m - split into one major and one secondary payment - for qualifying for the league phase of the Champions League.

The club have since added €7m to their payout as a result of their two wins and three draws so far.

Each win earns an additional €2.1m with draws worth €700k to clubs.

Celtic are guaranteed another payment when the league phase standings are finalised with the bottom club receiving €275k and clubs earning that figure again for every position they finish higher in the league table.

Should Celtic qualify for the play-off round then they would also receive a €1m bonus.

Going purely on money already secured for Celtic, the club have already earned £20.8m.
