How much Celtic have earned by drawing with Club Brugge in Champions League

Celtic earned another bonus payment from UEFA after their Champions League draw with Club Brugge.

Daizen Maeda struck in the second half to claim a point for Celtic in the league phase after Cameron Carter-Vickers' calamitous own goal in the first half.

The draw not only helps Celtic in the league phase as they inch towards possible progress into the knockout rounds but also sees a bonus paid by UEFA.

Celtic earned €700k for the draw against Club Brugge with the fee paid to all clubs for draws in the league phase of the elite European competition.

A win would have earned Celtic €2.1m - a figure they earned for both wins over Slovan Bratislava and RB Leipzig.

The point against Atalanta also saw Celtic earn €700k. Celtic banked €18.62m before a ball was kicked purely for their involvement in the Champions League.
