Thousands of Liverpool supporters face missing out on the FA Cup final at Wembley as the club wait for confirmation of their ticket allocation.
The Reds will face Chelsea in the showpiece occasion on Saturday, May 14 after beating Manchester City 3-2 in a thrilling semi-final at Wembley at the weekend.
It will be a repeat of the League Cup final in February, when Jurgen Klopp's side triumphed 11-10 in an epic penalty shoot-out following an absorbing goalless draw. And while the FA are yet to confirm the amount of tickets available for the final, Liverpool are almost certain to be officially backed by fewer supporters for next month's game.

The Reds were given an allocation of 34,090 tickets for Saturday's semi-final, while they received 32,999 for the League Cup final.
However, the distribution of recent FA Cup finals means the initial allocation next month is likely to be significantly lower at around the 29,000 mark.
With coronavirus restrictions impacting the last two finals - no fans were permitted in 2020, while last year around 20,000 were allowed with the fixture being treated as a trial event ahead of the full-scale return of supporters - the most recent regular final was in 2019, when Manchester City and Watford were each given an initial allocation of just over 29,000 which was later increased by around 2,000.
Clubs received between 28,000 and 29,000 each between 2016 and 2018, which represented an increase on the 25,000 initially allocated per finalist since the fixture moved to the new Wembley. In Liverpool's last FA Cup final appearance in 2012, they were given an allocation of 25,074. Intriguingly, when the Reds were in the final in 2006 at Cardiff - which contains 15,500 fewer seats than Wembley - they were handed 24,436 tickets.
