A Florida man was arrested after the FBI found extremely disturbing Signal messages that reportedly described a horrible plot, including plans for a violent attack that would be livestreamed. Lucas Alexander Temple, who is only 20 years old, is now facing serious federal charges.
According to Fox News, Temple is currently facing federal charges for two main crimes: sharing information about making or using explosives and having an unregistered short-barreled shotgun. Investigators say he was deeply involved in several extremist group chats on the encrypted Signal app, where he used different fake names to spread his hateful beliefs.
The FBI didn’t just find general hateful talk, either. Agents confirmed that Temple’s chats were filled with detailed instructions for making weapons. He reportedly shared a hand-drawn diagram showing how to build a homemade detonator. Even worse, he linked to YouTube videos explaining how to make dynamite and build blasting caps. This isn’t just typical online complaining; this is instructional material for building bombs.
This case shows how dangerous online extremism can become
Investigators were able to connect the various online fake names back to Temple’s real identity using details that seemed harmless when he shared them in the chats. He mentioned his age, his job at a local grocery store, and even a family museum visit. The authorities then checked these personal details against state records and security footage, proving that the person sharing this dangerous information was actually Lucas Temple.
The materials found in the chats were shocking in their scope and cruelty. Temple reportedly posted a 122-page extremist manual that was packed with White supremacist talk.
Beyond the general neo-Nazi propaganda, the discussions found in the chats were graphic and sickening, promoting rape, torture, and murder, including the killing of non-White children. One of the discussions was centred around “How long would it take to rape a femboy to death?”This isn’t the first time Florida authorities have dealt with disturbing criminal behavior involving dangerous posts.

When FBI agents carried out a search warrant at Temple’s home on Thursday, they found even more strong evidence of his dark plans. Authorities found guns inside his bedroom and a book related to the Columbine High School shooters, Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris. They also found a Springfield Model 67 Series E shotgun. This wasn’t just any gun; the barrel had reportedly been cut off and was found in a separate area, making the weapon shorter than 18 inches.

The most chilling piece of evidence found, however, was a handwritten attack plan discovered inside Temple’s bedroom. This note outlined a detailed operation, which included plans like: “Wear body cams for livestream,” “Notify friends of livestream,” “Put flags on car,” and “Play music on car speakers during operation.” This suggests he wanted to record and broadcast the violence he planned to commit.
Perhaps most alarming was the final instruction: “Place motion-activated bombs in doorways (for cops).” Following the search, Temple was immediately arrested. Florida has seen its share of shocking criminal cases, including a man’s deathbed confession about intentional crash.
