The Chancellor of the Exchequer has been accused by critics of delivering a mini-Budget which is only designed to help households in the South of England - where properties are expected to gain three times as much in value than the North.
Kwasi Kwarteng yesterday promised £45billion worth of tax cuts which slashed Stamp Duty, reduced Income Tax to 19p, and abolished the 45p rate of Income Tax paid by some 660,000 of the richest figureheads in Britain.
Furthermore, analysis by think tank the Resolution Foundation suggests that households in London and the South East of England will see over three-times (in the region of £1,600) the gains of those living in the North East, Wales, or Yorkshire (around £500).
