How Edu can use transfer loophole to sanction two Arsenal exits and unlock huge cash windfall

For many clubs around Europe, including Arsenal, the transfer window slammed shut last night. But, several top-flight leagues still have a few days until they are due to draw a line under their summer endeavours.

With the Gunners yet to offload a few players, technical director Edu is still able to move them on, potentially unlocking a healthy cash windfall and tee Mikel Arteta up nicely for the January window. Reiss Nelson and Mohamed Elneny have been heavily linked with departures from the Emirates Stadium lately, so an exit isn't entirely off of the cards.

Whether it be Nelson and Elneny or George Lewis and Matt Smith, football.london have taken a look at the most likely potential destinations for any player still pushing for an exit.
