Chase Briscoe has a series-leading six pole positions in 2025, but the Joe Gibbs Racing driver has yet to convert any of those poles into a race win. At Iowa Speedway, he came fairly close, finishing second to William Byron and Hendrick Motorsports.
Briscoe appeared to be in a great spot to go for the win, closing the gap to Byron as the No. 24 team worried about fuel. But even with the help of slower traffic, Briscoe began to fall off and was unable to mount a serious challenge.
