How and where you can get a pint for just 6p to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee

Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Greene King

People across the North East can get a pint for just 6p for one day next week - as long as they use a secret code at the bar.

Ahead of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Greene King local pubs are offering cheap drinks on Monday May 30. That's the same price punters would have paid on the day of the Queen's coronation in 1952.

Anyone visiting a Greene King Local Pub or a Flaming Grill site will be able to claim a pint of Greene King's IPA for just 6pm by using the secret code word '1952' at the bar.
