A man in Kerala's Thrissur district was arrested in a drug case after an unusual attempt to hide ganja inside a pressure cooker backfired during a police raid. The incident came to light during Operation Toofan, the Kerala Police's ongoing anti-narcotics crackdown aimed at curbing drug trafficking and substance abuse across the state.

Tried to Hide Ganja Inside a Pressure Cooker
According to report in Deccan Herald, police officers conducted a search at the suspect's residence based on intelligence inputs. During the inspection, they initially failed to find any narcotic substance despite thoroughly checking the premises.

However, the situation took an unexpected turn in the kitchen. The accused had allegedly concealed a packet of ganja inside a pressure cooker filled with rice and placed it on the stove, hoping to keep it hidden from investigators.
