Rep. Victoria Spartz, R-Ind., expressed concerns about the level of commitment towards Johnson, noting that some individuals refrained from voting as a favor to President Trump. However, Johnson secured the Republicans' speaker nominee position through a unanimous voice vote after receiving full backing from President-elect Donald Trump.
