House passes Kanpur Municipal Corporation, Jal Kal budget amidst chaos

KANPUR: Amidst chaos and sharp word play, the house on Saturday passed the budget proposals of Rs 13.75 billion (Rs 137590.57 lakh) of Kanpur Municipal Corporation (KMC) and Rs 2.68 billion budget proposals of Jalkal for financial year 2022-23.

The budget proposal is likely to generate expected revenue. The actual income of KMC was Rs.100103.14 lakh in December 2021 and as per the revised budget for 2021-22 it was Rs 144306.22 lakh.
