A house in Finglas was the subject of a suspected petrol bomb in the early hours of Saturday morning.
James Whelan, who was killed in a gangland shooting, used to live in the house. His mother and another person were in the house at the time of the attack, Dublin Live understands. Neither or them have any involvement in crime, nor does anyone who lives in the house.
There were no injuries arising from the attack reported to gardai.
