Residents across the North East are starting to shake the winter blues, thanks to the stunning sunshine of recent - and the forecast for the next couple of days brings more glorious spring sunshine, as temperatures gradually start heating up again.
Tomorrow's Met Office outlook highlights sun from start to finish, with clear skies continuing through nightfall. Highs of 12C and lows of 6C are expected to accompany - t-shirt weather is slowly returning.
And Thursday's forecast shows a run of similar form, with more blue skies from dawn until dusk. Highs of 10C and lows of 7C accompany.

The Met Office says to expect: "Another fine, sunny day once any lingering low cloud clears. Feeling rather warm in sheltered spots, but fresh easterly winds make way for a cooler day, especially for windward coasts.
"Maximum temperature 12 °C."
