More snow is on the way across Leeds this Saturday with residents warned of treacherous driving conditions on our roads.
The Met Office has confirmed more snow is on the way, accompanied by cold temperatures and ice. A Met Office spokesman said: "Early freezing fog patches gradually clearing, then very cold with sunny spells and increasing amounts of cloud. Probably some sleet or hill snow this evening, turning to rain overnight. Maximum temperature 6 °C."
The outlook over the weekend will follow a similar pattern. For Sunday and Monday, the Met Office said: "Dry with bright spells Sunday before milder conditions with occasionally heavy rain arrive later and persist into Monday. Monday night rain, sleet or snow clears, with wintry showers for Tuesday."
