Police are on the hunt for two masked motorists who knocked a motorbike rider to the ground during a violent attempted robbery.
Video footage of the incident shows the 48-year-old assaulted by the two attackers as they try to mug the motorcyclist in Sheffield.
The terrifying incident took place at around 11am yesterday, and footage shows a red Honda motorbike cruise up behind a grey Fiat 500.
The rider is forced to swerve around it as the car screeches to a halt while the Fiat driver appears to deliberately turn into the motorbike.
A passenger donned with a balaclava then appears to jump out and force the man to the ground.
The motorcyclist is then filmed running towards the car and forcing its door open but the driver, who is also wearing a balaclava, slams the door shut before racing off into the distance.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said they believed the car to be stolen and displaying a false number plate.
They said that whilst the victim did not suffer any physical injuries they were "understandably shaken".
Police are appealing to anyone with information, who knows the whereabouts of the vehicle or has dash-cam footage and can assist with their enquiries.
