Rishi Sunak appears to be closing in on announcing a new post-Brexit deal for Northern Ireland, as Conservative MPs were ordered to be in Parliament on Monday.
The Prime Minister would be expected to hold final discussions over the Northern Ireland Protocol with the European Union’s Ursula von der Leyen before making a formal announcement. The pair were said to have held a “positive” call on Friday.
