
British No. 1 Katie Boulter overcame sixth seed Yue Yuan 6-2 5-7 6-2 to reach the final of the Hong Kong Open and climb into the world's top 25 for the very first time. The 29-year-old will now bid to win her third WTA title of the season when she plays Russian top seed Diana Shnaider in Sunday's final.
Shnaider, 20, is enjoying the best season of her fledgling career and was in super form on Saturday as she secured a 6-4 6-2 victory over defending champion Leylah Fernandez. The world No. 14 will be bidding to win her fourth WTA title of the year, having already won the Bad Homburg Open, Hua Hin Championships and Budapest Grand Prix this season.
