The Honda Fit Isn't Coming Back To America. But The Door Is Open

  • Honda has no active program to reintroduce the Fit in the US; executives call a return "something we can consider".
  • Honda is prioritizing Civic and HR-V production over reviving discontinued models, citing strong demand for those entry models.
  • Honda plans 15 new hybrid models in North America by March 2030; an eighth plant depends on a USMCA extension.

Honda is not bringing the Fit back to America, at least not yet. Lance Woelfer, American Honda's sales executive, told Road & Track and other outlets during an August roundtable that the car is off the table for now, but he stopped short of shutting the door for good.
