Honda is recalling 4,804 vehicles in the United States because a tire repair kit could malfunction and send a bottle cap flying toward the person using it. The safety issue affects certain Honda CR-V Hybrid, Accord Hybrid, and CR-V Fuel Cell EV vehicles that were already repaired under an earlier recall.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the new recall was reported on October 8, 2026, under campaign number 26V663000.
