A man has been handed a restraining order after sneaking into the luggage hold of a plane to “smoke a cig and drink beer ” then jumping off before it left.
Martin Rudzki, 35, climbed over three fences in order to get onto the Virgin Atlantic plane - which he said he did because he thought it “looked cool”.
Rudzki, who is homeless, had been sleeping rough on Manchester Airport grounds for five weeks prior to his committing the offence, Manchester Magistrates’ Court heard.
