Food fans have spotted a cheaper alternative for McDonald's popular McNuggets in Home Bargains - and they are said to taste exactly like the real deal.
While fast food can be a nice treat, there are quite a few retailers that sell a range of 'dupes' that are cheaper and just as good.
One such store is Home Bargains, with the popular discounted retail chain now stocking a 25-pack of chicken nuggets in its freezer aisles. Taking to Facebook, the retailer revealed its McNuggets 'dupe' costs just £2.69 for the full pack.
While McDonald's prices can vary in each store, an individual six-piece box of McNuggets would generally cost you £4.29, while a nine-piece would cost you £4.59. Meanwhile a share box of 20 would set you back £5.79.
Sharing its own version of McNuggets to Facebook, Home Bargains cheekily wrote: "Serve the happiest of meals with our chicken nuggets, your kids won't know the difference. (Toy not included.)"
And it looks like the retailer wasn't wrong, as more than 500 foodies flocked to the comments to rave over the bargain 'dupe' that would save them on spending money on fast-food.
"I love these taste exactly like mcnuggets, love having heinz curry sauce with them to yummy x", hailed one shopper.
"These are great. Best ones!", raved a second happy shopper.
"I have these and honestly are amazing! Taste just like McDonald’s only take 8 mins in the air frier as well", praised a third.
"I bought these the other wk for my son’s birthday party for all the kids and They where lovely and just like McDonald’s ones", wrote a fourth.
"Awesome. Much better than the one's at McDonalds or KFC", added a fifth enthusiastically.
Home Bargains' 25-pack chicken nuggets are not the only McDonald's 'dupe' to land on store shelves recently, as Aldi has also recently expanded its takeaway range.
The budget supermarket's Oakhurst Takeaway Style French Fries have been hailed by shoppers for being a cheaper version of the fast-food's popular french fries.
Home Bargains fans can lookout for the 25-pack McNuggets 'dupe' in their local store. Not all stores offer a full freezer aisle, so it is worth checking for stock availability.
