Hollywood actress Raquel Welch has died aged 82 after a "brief illness".
Her family explained that she passed away on Wednesday morning (15 February). No other information around her death has been released but fans have flocked to Twitter to pay their respects.
One fan said: "What a life. Rest in peace…" While a second commented: "RIP, #RaquelWelch. The legendary actress passed away today at the age of 82."

A third penned: "RIP Raquel Welch. Her memory certainly will be a blessing." A fourth wrote: "We were blessed to have her she was a delights. Goodbye Raquel Welch."
She rose to fame when she starring Fantastic Voyage and One Million Years B.C. In One Million Years B.C she became a sex symbol when she appeared in a deerskin bikini.
After her shocking appearance she became a highly sought after celebrity. She then starred in plenty of shows including Bedazzled and Bluebeard.
The Hollywood icon then took home a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Actress with incredible performance in The Three Musketeers in 1974.
The American is often credited with breaking the mould for modern day action heroines in Hollywood films, the BBC has reported. TMZ reports that Raquel was married four times throughout her life, first to James Welch from 1959 to 1964, Patrick Curtis from 1967 to 1972, Andre Weinfeld from 1980 to 1990 and Richard Palmer 1999 to 2004.
She leaves behind two children, Tahnee and Damon Welch.
