Hollywood comedy actor looks unrecognisable as he cheers on hockey team

A Hollywood star has been seen looking completely unrecognisable as he enjoyed a hockey game in LA.

Will Ferrell looked different to his usual self as he wore black and white checked face paint while supporting the Los Angeles Kings in their match against the Edmonton Oilers.

The comedy actor was wearing a white Kings jacket and a black beanie hat as he watched game three of the first round of the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs in Los Angeles.

It seems him being there was a lucky charm for the ice hockey team as they beat the Oilers 3-2 in overtime.

Will seems to be into his sports as he has recently been seen attending multiple UK football matches.

The 55-year-old posed for photos with Mo Salah and Jack Grealish, as he enjoyed a pint with Wrexham AFC fans and joined Gary Neville on Sky Sports as he watched four matches in six days with friends.

The Elf star's first match was Wrexham's game against Wealdstone in the National League, and Will enjoyed a pre-match pint with some fans at a local pub.

As he was spotted having a drink in The Turf, a beloved pub next to the Racecourse Ground, fans caught a glimpse of the American star, who is also a co-owner of Los Angeles FC (LAFC) back in the US.

In a video posted on the club's social media platforms, Ferrell drew laughs from nearby supporters and Wrexham's media team with his message. Firstly taking time to fix his hair, the actor said: "Hi, I'm Will Ferrell.

"It's my first time here - where are we again? Wrexham! I'm really excited for this match and I'll be honest with you, I'm a little nervous."

Will was on Sky Sports the next day when he spoke to Gary, Micah Richards, Roy Keane and Kelly Cates, ahead of Manchester City's game with Aston Villa.
