Grace Black (Tamara Wall) finds she has an ally in tonight’s Hollyoaks on at 7pm (See our TV Guide for full listings).
Grace has recently managed to get herself out of prison after feigning a serious illness.
Tonight, and with her husband Freddie Roscoe (Charlie Clapham) still in hospital, her mate Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) offers her a place to stay.
Cindy is soon filling in Grace on the mysterious gangster, ‘Blue’ who has been wreaking havoc in the village.
Meanwhile, the Hutchinsons, Diane (Alex Fletcher) and husband Tony (Nick Pickard), prepare to visit the doctor with their transgender child Ro (Ava Webster).
However the GP visit is very disappointing as Ro, who wants to transition, feels he is not being taken seriously.
The doctor tells Ro that stopping puberty is not an option any more and agrees to refer him to a child and adolescent mental health service. However, they warn him that there is a very long waiting list.
The family leaves the surgery feeling deflated and let down by not getting the answers they hoped for.
Elsewhere, Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) confronts his son JJ (Ryan Mulvey) after catching him throwing his beloved gold football boots into the River Dee in yesterday’s episode.
A threatening JJ warns his young brother, Oscar (Noah Holdsworth) that if he has blabbed anything to Darren then he will pay the price..
Later on, JJ thinks Darren has worked out that he has been abusing his twin sister, Frankie (Isabelle Smith), and is alarmed when he is certain Darren is taking him to the police.
However, his fears prove unfounded when Darren takes him to The Dog instead to meet a football coach who offers him a place on the team.
Plus, mystery gangster, ‘Blue’ continues to terrorise the villagers by leaving their calling card of blue coins dotted around the village at the Loft and at the hospital where Freddie is a patient.
When will Blue’s identity be revealed?
