Holly Willoughby couldn't have looked happier as she gave fans a glimpse inside her lavish home display organised for her birthday. The This Morning host is marking turning 42 on Friday (February 10) after spending her last day on the ITV daytime show until later this month on Thursday.
Holly and her co-host Phillip Schofield won't be back on the programme until Monday, February 20, with Josie Gibson and Dermot O'Leary stepping in to host This Morning during the half-term break. At the end of Thursday's show, Holly was presented with a gorgeous cake from baker Juliet Sear as her co-stars cheersed to her birthday.
And on Friday morning, Holly took to Instagram to share a beaming selfie as she clung on to a beautiful bunch of flowers. The mum-of-three had put on a touch of light make-up with some dark eyeliner while her blonde locks were left down and to their own devices.
As she dazzled with her pearly whites, a huge balloon display could be seen in the background. Gold inflated balloons filled the large space and seeminly spelled out 'Happy Birthday'. "It’s my BIRTHDAY!!!" Holly typed in the caption of the post to her millions of followers.
"Thank you for all your kind wishes… what a beautiful day … the best birthday gift of glorious blue skies and sunshine… with a healthy side/slab of cake… hugest love H," she added.
Kate Ferdinand was among the first to respond, writing: "Happy birthday darling! Hope you have the best day." This Morning chef Clodagh McKenna wrote: "Happy Birthday you beautiful girl." Vet Dr Scot posted: "Happy birthday lovely friend and total legend." Good Morning Britain star Charlotte Hawkins added: "Happy Birthday gorgeous!"
And fans were also sending Holly birthday wishes. @lineskarena said: "Happy birthday Holly! Have a fabulous day in the glorious sunshine." @nushmoore wrote: "This photo! So beautiful. Happy cake day." @regentiv_skincare replied: "Happy birthday beautiful Holly." @timcarter1818 added: "Happy birthday to miss Holly the most beautiful woman in the world."
Meanwhile, Holly's sister Kelly, who is also the managing director of her younger's sister wellness brand, Wylde Moon, shared a throwback picture of the siblings to mark the occasion. The previously unseen snap showed the pair as teenagers in a warm embarce as they smiled for the camera.
Kelly wrote alongside the sweet snap: "Happy, Happy Birthday Sis! Everyone needs a Holly in their life! She’s the fun at a party, the daft when you’re behaving like children, the serious when you really need it, the support when you can’t see the wood for the trees, and the love….always."
She added: "Love you @hollywilloughby." And Holly was quick to reply, writing in the comments: "Awww thanks kel… love you." And some of Kelly's followers were also responding to the snap.
