Holly Willoughby was joined on Monday by This Morning's Friday presenter Dermot O'Leary as the pair revealed he will be stepping in for two weeks.
It comes as the presenting shake-up continues, with Holly presenting alongside Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle in previous weeks - following the Phillip Schofield scandal and his exit from ITV.
Kicking off the show, viewers were treated to a new theme tune courtesy of This Morning contributor and DJ Gok Wan before Holly welcomed her new host.
Usually on the daytime TV show, Dermot is seen with Alison Hammond on a Friday and throughout the school holidays.
However, on Monday the 50-year-old presented with Holly for the first time since joining the show as a host.
"Hi Dermot O'Leary," Holly said to her new presenter before he replied: "It's weird because obviously we see each other a lot just in real life but we haven't worked together since we did The Xtra Factor together."
Holly estimated she presented with Dermot back in 2008 before she'd given birth to her first child, her son Harry.
"I wasn't even a mum then!" Holly commented as Dermot explained the pair were reunited on The Xtra Factor again when the This Morning star had given birth.
"When you had Harry we took him on Harry's world tour," Dermot quipped as Holly explained she brought her baby boy along to Simon Cowell's house for the 'Judges' Houses' stage of The X Factor.
Holly and Dermot revealed they did present together on This Morning once, almost 14 years ago.
This Morning viewers watched a clip of the pair in the ITV studio with Dermot wearing an almost identical outfit.
"You look exactly the same!" Holly exclaimed as Dermot joked: "I've just chopped off the sleeves, I'm wearing the same top."
Dermot then added he will be with Holly "for two weeks" before the pair continued on with the show.
After Phillip's immediate departure was announced, Alison and Dermot presented the programme while Holly enjoyed an extended half-term break.
Craig stepped in on a few occasions alongside Alison before Holly returned to deliver a speech in which she asked viewers if they were ok following the fallout from Phillip Schofield's shock resignation.
