Holly Willoughby tried to make peace on This Morning on Wednesday as two of the ITV show's regular guests came head to head in a debate.
The presenter joined Craig Doyle to host the popular show on Wednesday morning and spoke about the day's big new stories, reports the Chronicle.
The pair were joined by Vanessa Feltz and Matthew Wright in the studio when the chat turned to 'junk' food options in meal deals which are set to be banned in Wales.
Restrictions, set to be introduced in 2024, will be placed on certain combinations that have a high fat, sugar or salt content above the recommended daily amount, with businesses also prohibited from lowering prices and offering promotions on the unhealthiest foods.
Vanessa, who slammed the move stated she was very much against "grown-ups telling other grown-ups what to do," adding that she didn't want to be told what to eat and, as someone who has very publicly battled with her weight, she knew that if someone wanted to eat 'fried or sugary' food they'd still have it.
However, Matthew decided to take the opposite stance, saying that getting a meal deal bargain might seem like a way of saving money in the short term.
He also said that the long-term financial implications of tackling obesity were far greater, as Vanessa continued to stand her ground, saying: "You want the comfort, you want the diverse...you want something from it that isn't just food and nothing will cut it, so you will go without something else to eat it. I don't think you can stop people by charging them for it."
Clearly sensing that there wasn't going to be any compromise between the pair, Holly interrupted her guests to remark: "I think we'll pause there for a moment, thank you."
Craig then stepped into remark: "We will continue though. Enjoy the difference of opinion. Through conflict there is change, a great philosopher once said" as Matthew quipped: "It's healthy!"
