A hit-and-run driver who was brought to justice thanks to an “uncanny” sketch by an eyewitness has been jailed for 24 years.

Danny Smith, 44, crashed into Saleem Ahmed’s Yamaha motorbike in an ill-fated attempt to overtake two cars, leaving the 20-year-old with catastrophic injuries.
