The historic Bellator 300 card coming up next month continues to grow and now has eight new fights for the prelims.
Among the biggest additions, light heavyweight standout Grant Neal (8-1 MMA, 8-1 BMMA) will move down to middleweight to take on Romero Cotton (6-1 MMA, 6-1 BMMA). Plus, former San Francisco 49ers player Josh Hokit will make his MMA debut against fellow debutant Spencer Smith. Bellator officials informed MMA Junkie of those bouts and six others Friday.
Bellator 300 takes place Oct. 7 at Pechanga Arena in San Diego. The Showtime-broadcast main card features four title fights at heavyweight, women’s featherweight, lightweight and women’s flyweight.
In addition, new fights for the prelims include Sergio Cossio vs. Jesse Roberts at lightweight, Mukhamed Berkhamov vs. Herman Terrado at welterweight, Maciej Rozanski vs. Doveltdzhan Yagshimuradov at light heavyweight, Dmytrii Hrytsenko vs. Justin Montalvo at a 160-pound contract weight, Bryce Meredith vs. Miguel Peimbert at bantamweight and Lorrany Santos vs. Jackie Cataline in a women’s featherweight bout.
With the additions, the Bellator 300 lineup now includes:

- Champ Ryan Bader vs. Linton Vassell – for heavyweight title
- Champ Cris Cyborg vs. Cat Zingano – for women’s featherweight title
- Champ Usman Nurmagomedov vs. Brent Primus – for lightweight title
- Champ Liz Carmouche vs. Ilima-Lei Macfarlane – for women’s flyweight title
