A hillwalker was rushed to a Glasgow hospital by helicopter on Saturday after falling on Ben Cruachan and suffering "serious injuries".
Rescue workers had to be flown out to the casualty and then winched down to them before they could help in the difficult terrain in Argyll and Bute.
Oban Mountain Rescue Team have now released a safety warning to the public about difficult weather conditions in the hills despite the spring months, reports the Daily Record.
