A Hillsborough homeowner scared off a potential burglar from his property on Tuesday.
The Kilwarlin Road resident had been out at the back of his house at around 1pm when he heard a noise nearby.
He then spotted a man standing at the back of his house and another man moving between the kitchen and hallway.

When he confronted the pair about what they were doing, they made off in a black vehicle in the direction of Hillsborough.
Nothing was stolen in the incident and police are appealing for any information from anyone who may have witnessed the men in the area to contact them.
