Andrew Wiggins is making a strong case to join the splash family.
On Saturday night against the Houston Rockets, Andrew Wiggins led the Warriors with a barrage of triples in a 120-101 victory on Saturday night at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
Wiggins looked in All-Star form, scoring a season-high 36 points on an efficient 14-of-19 shooting from the field to go along with five rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 34 minutes.
Wiggins did most of his damage from beyond the arc, matching his career-high with eight triples on 10 attempts from long distance. At one moment, Wiggins drilled what looked like his ninth made 3-pointer to set a new career-high. However, it was quickly ruled that Wiggins’ foot was on the 3-point line.
