AARON HICKEY isn't oblivious to the constant transfer speculation surrounding his future.
The former Hearts kid turned Bologna regular is well aware he's continually being linked with major moves since breaking into the first-team in the Serie A.
In fact, the left-back - who was included in the Scotland squad earlier this year in March - has revealed even his pals are sending him links on transfer rumours.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Hickey explained: "Yeah, I do see quite a lot of talk.
"One of my friends text me saying like, 'Right, what's happening here lad' because they'd sent me stuff about transfer talks.
Hickey, who has recently been linked with Arsenal, is keeping his head down however and not reading into the discussion - even if it does give him confidence.
The 19-year-old made the decision to head for Italy after coming through the ranks at Hearts. And he has already established himself as a regular in the Italian top-flight.
Hickey was limited to 11 Serie A appearances in the 2020/21 season, but so far has played 33 times this term. He's also bagged five goals and an assist in the league.
On the speculation surrounding his future, Hickey added: "It's nice to know there's interest from other clubs, it gives you some confidence.
"But I just keep my head down and focus on football."
