The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has released guidance to implement sex-based definitions across the federal government and its partners. This move expands on President Donald Trump's recent executive order titled 'Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.'
HHS has announced its commitment to implementing policies that protect children from chemical and surgical procedures and is also working on developing a policy for women's sports. As part of these efforts, HHS has launched a new web page for the Office of Women's Health, featuring a video of former collegiate swimmer and activist Riley Gaines discussing the importance of keeping biological men out of women's sports.
