Hero West Lothian woman tries to tackle sneaky shoplifter who flees with beers

West Lothian Edinburgh

A brave West Lothian shopkeeper was "kicked" by a shoplifter when she was trying to stop him from escaping from a store in West Lothian.

The 45-year-old shop assistant hid behind a shelf after she noticed the thief heading out without paying before trying to grab him as he left through the door. The thug then pushed her into the door frame, kicked her and ran off.
