A group of brave team members from Dublin Fire Brigade came to the aid of an injured motorcyclist in Spain over the weekend.
The technical rescue team from Dublin Fire Brigade were returning after attending a conference in Seville, Spain when they came across a seriously injured motorcyclist on their way back to Malaga airport. The brave team immediately leapt into action, tending to the motorcyclist and securing the scene of the accident.
Taking to social media today, Dublin Fire Brigade hailed its brave team for their quick thinking actions. They said: "Members of our technical rescue team who were returning from a rescue conference/tournament in Seville came across a seriously injured motorcyclist as they travelled to Malaga airport.

"They were able to fend off the scene and performed critical interventions on the patient as one of our Advanced Paramedics coordinated with the local emergency services. As it happens, one of the team has specific training and experience of motorcycling injuries from race events.
"Well done to Dave C, Juan, Richie, Cameron, Dave H and John for their quick reactions." Social media users were quick to praise the courageous Dublin team for their heroic actions.
One person commented: "Well done DFB. Super heroes."
A second added: "Absolutely amazing well done lads! Speedy recovery to the biker." A third said: "Amazing work guys. Very lucky motorcyclist."
"We’ll done lads - great job#neveroffduty," added a fourth.
