What exactly is the metaverse? Herman Narula is one person who might know the answer – or at least how to make money from it.
His London-based metaverse company Improbable aims at helping individuals and businesses “unleash the full potential of virtual worlds.”
And investors have certainly unleashed their wallets to sign up to his plans. In September Improbable raised $100 million in funding, valuing the company at over $3 billion.
The Delhi-born Cambridge graduate, who now lives in Barnet, has written a book about the Metaverse called “The New Frontiers of Human Experience.” In it, he argues that as a species, humans have always inhabited ‘worlds of ideas’ to explore and create common purpose – and his metaverse is just a new high-tech incarnation.
